Imposter Draw Online drawing game with friends

Imposter Draw is an imposter drawing game you play online with your friends, each on your own phone. Make a room, send the link, and draw one picture together, one line each. Everyone knows the secret word except one player: the imposter. It is free, with no ads and no sign up, in English and Arabic.

How to play

1. One player makes a room and sends its link or its five letter code. Everyone joins with any name. You need 3 to 8 players.
2. Each phone shows a secret card. Everyone sees the category, and everyone but the imposter sees the word.
3. Take turns adding one line to the same drawing, two laps around the group. The imposter has to draw as if they knew the word.
4. Vote in secret for the player who did not know the word. The votes show together, and the player with the most is accused.
5. A caught imposter gets one guess at the word, from 8 choices. A right guess still wins.
6. The drawing replays with the imposter's lines lit, and you can share it as a picture. Every player is the imposter once in a game, and the top score wins.

How the score works

When the imposter is caught and guesses wrong, each player who voted for them scores 1 point. When the imposter escapes, or guesses the word, the imposter scores 2.

What you need

• 3 to 8 players, each with a phone and a connection, since every player draws on their own phone.
• Nothing to install: the room link opens in the browser, and any name will do.
• A way to talk: the game has no chat or voice, so play in the same room or on a call.

Is it free?

Yes. There are no ads and nothing to buy.

Do I need an account?

No. A name is all you give, and it lasts for the room.

How do my friends join?

Send them the room link in WhatsApp or anywhere else, or read out the five letters. They can join until the host starts the game.

Can we play without the internet?

No. Every player draws on their own phone, so the game is played online.

Which language are the words in?

The language of the player who makes the room, Arabic or English. There are 320 words in each, in 8 categories such as food, animals and places.

Is it like the spy and imposter word games?

Yes, in its idea: one player does not know the secret, and the group has to find them. Here you find them by how they draw.

Is there a time limit?

Yes. Each turn has its own short clock, so a game keeps moving. If a friend drops out, the host can skip them.
